Day 2 of Summer Camp

Words written: 264

Words written outside of Summer Camp projects: 2105, not counting emails and a ton of other work...

I'm still clearing my mental plate of the projects I didn't finish for June, but committing to work on Summer Camp at least a little each day.

Power Prompts

These first 8 prompts are all about Power, and these are the ones that I most wanted for the world of Aubadeon.

Rather than diving in on the Dimi mission, I went back to my original goal for Summer Camp and started in on a seat of power, realizing that I had not fully fleshed out Kingstown. This led me off into a rabbit trail of research into medieval city structure and what type of mountain you could safely build a city into the side of.

I live not far from Oso, Washington. In my imagination, one side of Kingstown has always been against a sheer cliff. I'll need to do a little more research before I'm certain the structure I've imagined will actually work.

How's Summer Camp going?

I'm still feeling hopeful. Having two generally conflicting goals is my typical headache. Getting distracted by research isn't helping. Still, I have a solid idea for at least the one article.

This article is a stub.

I'll be adding more content to this article in the future.

Hooray for progress, I also have ended up in a research rabbit warren. although yours soundly slightly more related to progress. Washington has some awesome geography to get inspired by, so I'm looking forward to what comes of this. Happy Camping.

Check out some of my summer camp articles, like the dangerous flying jackalope or dragon wasps. Or, for something more light-hearted, there is the whimsical language Gobbledygook and Jaden's interesting job as a guano polisher.
