Cordell Klakowicz (a.k.a. Cord)
As the CEO of the Spaceport, Cordell is responsible for making the day-to-day decisions regarding the direction the company will take. He did not study to become a CEO, and often finds the job challenging.
He prides himself on being open-minded, and creative, and so has worked to function well in the ever-changing environment.
As the unofficial representative of humanity to the universe, he feels he is in way over his head. If he could see a way out of the job, he might take it, except that he is also acutely aware of the opportunity and power the position gives him to make real change in the world.
He often seems to walk around as if he is carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders. Only a few people know how accurate that description is.

Healthy, but not overly muscular. Strikingly tall.
Apparel & Accessories
Dresses very casually, usually in jeans and a t-shirt.
Cordell's family is upper middle class, edging towards upper class. He didn't have to work his way through college. As an intelligent and creative individual, studies came easy for him. He is an avid science fiction and fantasy fan, more likely to be found gaming online or cosplaying with friends at conventions than studying or doing meaningful work.
When he asked his father for permission to use the abandoned mall for a fundraiser on Halloween, his father helped make the arrangements in the hopes that it would give him something constructive to do.
Cordell founded the Spaceport shortly after he graduated from college. The project was intended to be a hobby, an amusing diversion.

He is deeply committed to treating people fairly. He embraces diversity and works hard to see the people behind the stereotypes they often choose to present.
