Webbing is one of the most useful items that can be purchased in the giftshop. Especially if you are picking up a lot of souveneirs, you may want a packet of the versatile webbing so that you can bundle them up and secure them within their vehicle for return. It can also be used unfused as a type of bag for carrying large volumes of stuff without a lot of grief.
Fuse the corners to a wall to have a special pouch for dropping things into, being comfortable that they won't then float around the ship and cause a hazard.
Got something breaking? Cut of piece of webbing and fuse it to strengthen the weakened part to extend the structural integrity until you can get to a repair facility.

Webbing is the most indespensible tool for any traveller. You'll want to have multiple variations available.
Fun fact: webbing has been used extensively for fashion, including a fusable version being turned into armor. This has led to the unfortunate misuse of webbing where it has been intentionally fused to people's skin. Once fused, the webbing becomes permanent. Removing it is nearly impossible.
