A race known to produce the best bankers of the galaxy, these entities have had too much interaction with Earth. To a Galeun, mathematics is the most beautiful form of art. They can process advanced calculations in their sleep, and can make valuations on property with an uncanny accuracy, even when coming to a new planet for the first time. The best Galeuns have a reputation of creating monetary value from any interaction they have.
Humans have a tendency to see a Galeun and think "shark" which is not a helpful association. It can take some time for humans to clear their minds of the predatory associations and see these individuals as the brilliant mathematicians that they are.

Most consider calculation assistance as slow and untrustworthy, while they see their own calculations as fast and extremely accurate. Once a Galeun begins to fail in mathematics, they are limited to the home world and not allowed to travel where outsiders might see them. This helps to reinforce the belief that they are always accurate.
